AccountEdge 2008 brings a new look to your accounting with a refreshed command center. The command center’s facelift is more than just cosmetic, with the addition of your company name in the top left corner of each command center window, and the new Task Drawer, which lets you create a list of common functions that you use in AccountEdge for quick and easy access.

New Reminder Log

The new Reminder Log displays all reminders for a selected contact - or reminders that do not have a contact associated with them - such as reminders to follow up on invoice payments, or to make sales calls. You can also use the Reminder Log to help you remember to record recurring transactions. All Reminders can be published to iCal.

iCal Integration

Use AccountEdge’s new iCal integration to create calendar events and To Dos in iCal. Remind yourself to follow up with a customer on an invoice payment on a given date, and send Reminders from the Reminder Log to iCal’s To Do list.

AccountEdge’s iCal integration lets you set up events and To Dos so that you remember to follow up on invoice payments, pay bills, record recurring transactions, and manage other AccountEdge Reminders from the Reminder Log.

Search your lists faster and easier with AccountEdge’s enhanced search functionality. The new search tool lets you search by field, including first name, last name/company name, phone number, email and more. Only the results that match your search will be displayed. Save time searching the Activities, Cards, Items, Locations, and Recurring Transactions lists.
